A brief appearance of the Infinix Smart 20 in the Google Play Console database provided little information regarding the phone’s features. It has just been a few days. An unverified merchant listing that appears to validate the majority of the Infinix Smart 20’s specifications, along with a possible price tag, is currently going viral.

We discovered the early listing for the Infinix Smart 20 on Lazada, a well-known online marketplace in the Philippines. Although the tabloids and images appear legitimate, the product page is definitely not from the brand because the description has multiple mistakes. We managed to get a few specifications from the website, at least.

There are two choices for the newest Infinix smart phone. A 4GB trim with 64GB of ROM is available. Then there’s another with 128GB of storage but the same RAM. The starting price (in local currency) was surprisingly low. The 4/64GB trim reportedly costs about $77 (~PKR 21,500).

At about $100 (~PKR 28,000), the one with 128GB of storage is still reasonably priced. In any case, the majority of the phone’s hardware is sub-entry-level. You will only get a Mali G52 iGPU and a Helio G81 Ultimate SoC with restricted 4G LTE connection for that low price.

The screen appears to be an HD+ 6.78″ IPS panel. The SoC can easily manage the 120Hz refresh rate at which the 720p pixels are thrown about. They promote a product known as Voiceprint Noise Reduction. Like Samsung, that is Infinix’s approach to voice isolation.

This newbie has a 1.5m drop safety rating and an IP64 grade. UltraLink Free Offline Contact (up to 1km) is available. The phone even contains an NFC chip that can be utilized for Touch Transfer and cross-system sharing. To verify the remaining specifications, we await the Smart 20’s formal introduction. For more, keep watching the news.
