Nothing at all has been said about the Samsung Galaxy A27. Prior to its listing on the GSMA IMEI database today, we didn’t notice any indications of its release. The phone is real. As of right present, Samsung has not abandoned this model. Fans can relax. This is what we discovered.

At GSMA, two model numbers for the same Samsung handset were observed: SM-A276U and SM-A276B/DS. One has a single SIM and is clearly for the US market. We are aware that overseas smartphones are typically given the suffix “B,” therefore DS clearly refers for Dual SIM.

We reiterate: aside from the current GSMA listing, there has been no discussion whatsoever on the Galaxy A27. For this newbie, no Geekbench exam or certification of any kind has surfaced. We don’t anticipate seeing the phone at the launch of the Galaxy A37 and A57.

The new Samsung Galaxy phone is most likely delayed, but it hasn’t been canceled. Sometime around 2026, we anticipate seeing this handset on stage. Given that the GSMA database has informally declared the existence of this device, the rumor mill need to begin investigating it.

The 2024 Exynos 1480 SoC, which is still a respectable performer, appears to be in the Galaxy A37. The Galaxy A57, which reportedly borders on the semi-flagship, has a new Exynos 1680 chip. On paper, these phones will be pricey, but they are justified as premium.

Samsung Galaxy A27 receives IMEI certification

Both of them are based on Android 16 (perhaps One UI 8.5). For each, 45W charging is supported. The A37 comes with 6GB of RAM as standard. That increases to 8GB with the Galaxy A57. As the Galaxy A27 story progresses, we’ll keep you updated. Thus, continue to watch the news.
